How much will you pay for my code?+
It depends on how much original code there is, the languages, the quality, and how much history, documentation and tests come with it. We review the details and make a concrete cash offer. No obligation to accept.
It wasn't a startup, just an old project. Does it count?+
Yes. Side businesses, agency products, apps you built and stopped running, tools your company retired: if it was a real product, your team wrote it and you own it, send it in.
What will you do with my code?+
Its main use is training AI models to write better software. Before that, it is cleaned of anything sensitive. We don't use your brand or your name, and we don't relaunch your product as yours.
Do I have to send my code to get an offer?+
No. Your offer is based on what you tell us: what the product did, its size, its languages and what else you have. Code only moves after a written agreement is signed. We will never ask you to install or run anything on your computer.
What about passwords, API keys and customer data?+
They are removed before transfer, and we help you do it. We buy code and the work around it. We never take databases, user records or customer information.
The product is dead and the servers are gone. Does it still qualify?+
Yes, as long as you still have the code: on GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, a backup drive or an old laptop. The product does not need to run today.
The company was dissolved, or I had co-founders. Can I still sell?+
Usually, yes. Whoever owns the rights to the code must sign, so co-founders or investors with a say may need to agree. If a liquidator handles the company's assets, we can work with them directly.
Is this confidential?+
Completely. We don't publish who we buy from, and everything you share stays between you and our team.
